System Architect, Senior (TS/SCI with Polygraph Required)

Join NASK if you possess a strong System Architect background with the penchant, skills, and background to hit the ground running and affect immediate change.  Duties include studying information system use cases, designing system networks to fit requirements, optimizing existing architectures, troubleshooting and fixing issues, and collaborating with other systems architects and software engineers on project development and implementation. You will be responsible for the design of complex network and database systems that support a variety of daily functions and activities.

Position qualifications:

  • 10+ years computer programming, systems architecture, information technology, or related experience
  • Extensive experience with integrated development environments, TCP/IP, and related tools and technologies
  • Understanding of change management and schedule management principles and practices
  • Experience with database inputs, updates and configuration control
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Proficient with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Effective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment
  • B.S. (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Desired qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in STEM Discipline
  • PMP, ITIL or other related professional certifications
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering practices and processes
  • Experience with IC organizations
  • Experience conducting requirements and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and management
